A List of All Bat Pokemon
Zubat

Base Stats
Specific characteristics: Doesn’t have eyes. Can become a Golbat at the 22nd level when properly trained.
Zubat is the most commonly encountered nocturnal blue bat Pokemon. It prefers dark places like caves and doesn’t have eyes but has highly developed hearing and sharp teeth. It gains its power by mainly draining leeches or animals and plants. If you feed Zubat often, it will become stronger and stronger, eventually gaining such abilities as the stronger they get and eventually gain the capability of tearing or forcing the victim into submission to drain them.
Less known facts: Seemingly weak Pokémon can be quite handy if trained properly. Zubat can learn some great flying moves and can also combine Toxic and Venoshock abilities. So, if played smart, it’s possible to get the upper hand and win with this great bat.
Golbat

Base Stats
Specific characteristics: Golbat’s wings are actually its arms, becomes a Crobat.
Golbat is a Poison/Flying type Pokémon that evolves from Zubat at level 22. It’s quite a difficult Pokémon to catch as it’s very evasive. Depending on the method of its training and evolution, it can evolve into Crobat or, if exposed to a Poison Stone, into Alolan Golbat. Its primary attacking method is through sound waves that confuse the opponents.
Although Golbat isn’t the most powerful Pokémon, it can be a very valuable member of a team when used smartly.
Less known facts: One of the few Pokémon that has the ability to learn the move Mean Look
Crobat

Base Stats
Specific characteristics: Doesn’t have legs.
Crobat is a purple bat Pokemon and can be found in Wayward Cave and Icebound Falls. It has only four weaknesses and a great base 90 attack. In addition, it has amazing speed and attack levels and moves like a U-turn, Brave Bird, Toxic, Roost, and Super Fang.
Less known facts: It has one of the highest stats than any starter.
Woobat

Base Stats
Specific characteristics: Can carry heavy objects using its psychic powers, can become a Swoobat.
Woobat has a round body, red eyes, and wings that resemble a heart shape when fully extended. Woobat can emit ultrasonic waves from its nose to navigate through dark caves and locate its prey. It has a unique evolution method, evolving into Swoobat when its happiness is high and while the trainer is standing in a specific location (Mistralton City airport in Pokémon Black and White) in the game.
Less known facts: It is one of the few Pokémon that can learn the move, Simple Beam.
Swoobat

Base Stats
Specific characteristics: Swoobat’s design is based on a Honduran white bat. Rocks can reduce its health very quickly.
Swoobat is a dual-type Psychic/Flying Pokémon. It has high Attack and Speed stats and can learn moves like Psychic, Air Slash, Energy Ball, and Calm Mind, giving it good coverage and the ability to set up. However, it’s one of the weakest bats. It’s very weak against physical and entry attacks, so even if used for its full capacity and best combination, this bat has very poor stats that are very difficult to overcome.
Less known facts: the combination of calm mind/agility + stored power gives a power spike to it.
Noibat

Base Stats
Specific characteristics: Can be easily frightened by loud noises or sudden movements. Can evolve into Noivern.
Noibat’s name is a combination of the words noise and bat, which reflects its ability to create ultrasonic waves to stun the prey or confuse its enemies. However, despite the very generous moves set, Noibats are very timid by nature. Their reliance on sound-type attacks makes it very difficult to train and use effectively in battles, even when implementing careful strategy.
Less known facts: Can learn the move Boomburst.
Noivern

Base Stats
Specific characteristics: Can be evolved from Noibat at level 48.
Noivern bats can be found on Victory Road, Route 18, and the Friend Safari. Although it has a very fearsome appearance, it’s very friendly with others. Noivern is a fast and very powerful Pokémon that has an extraordinary set of great abilities and moves. However, it is important to know its weaknesses (for example, its moves may be inaccurate) and use its strengths in the battles smartly.
Less known facts: It’s the fastest dragon-like bat.
Lunala

Base Stats
Specific characteristics: Has a 3-rd eye that appears when attacking.
Lunala is a unique Pokémon that has extraordinary abilities and appearance and is considered a bat. It has wide wings that can cover its face, making it look like a crescent.
Lunala’s base stat is impressive, with high Special Attack and Special Defense stats. In the early stages of a battle, it’s very difficult to beat this Pokemon as its Shadow Shield ability reduces any damage that it gets from enemies when the HP is full. Alongside with above-mentioned advantages, it also has some flaws, such as low speed and physical defense and being weak against Dark type moves.
Less known facts: It is the only known Pokémon that can learn the move Moongeist Beam which ignores its enemies’ abilities.
Gligar

Base Stats
Specific characteristics: Has a more scorpion-like look. Can evolve into Gligar during the night while holding a Razor Fang.
Although Gligar has a versatile move pool, its low recovery move makes it quite vulnerable in the battle as it quickly loses health stats. Also, it has a relatively low speed stat making it inefficient against faster opponents. But don’t think it’s a bad choice, as this bat is a solid choice for a defensive or supportive role in the team. It’s great against physical attacks and has access to a variety of useful moves such as Roost, U-turn, and Earthquake.
Less known facts: Is one of few bats that is immune to Poison-type moves and Toxic
Gliscor

Base Stats
Specific characteristics: A combination of a scorpion, a vampire bat, and a bit of crab
Gliscor is a unique pokemon that can be considered a bat. It has very high physical stats and, if trained the right way, can become a good physical attacker. It has access to several useful moves like Earthquake, Roost, and Swords Dance. The issue with this bat is that it’s vulnerable against Ice, Water, and Grass-type moves that are very commonly used in the game. Also, its special defense stat is relatively low, making it vulnerable to special attacks.
Less known facts: It is the only Pokémon that has both Flying and Ground typing.
